Any thursday, 12:00 am more or less. I was sitting down in a bench, looking to the buildings opposite me, with the road at my back. My handy recorder zoom h4n in my hands. Some people was chatting next to a car and then they got inside and they left (you can hear that on the left channel. Got it? "left" channel :d). You can hear people passing from one channel to another, cars and motorbikes. It was in c/ bravo murillo (madrid, spain). In that part, it is a one way street for vehicles, so all of them go from right to left channel.

A click track (generated in audacity) that sounds great as a timer. It runs for 9. 999 seconds (approximately 10). I hope you enjoy!. During my exchange semester i took a class called "sound and electronics in theater". We had to do an editing project where i had to make a 30 second sample of the sentence “a large monster charged a whole group of people. Many people died, but then one man grabbed a machine gun/knife and gunned down/chopped up the monster. ”i only used sounds from freesound. Org and edited and aranged them with reaper. This is what the result sounds like. (well in this uploaded version i removed the ripped spoken quotes from terminator because they were not from this website here :p). This is an acid loop i made with free vsti called rubber duck. I run it through various lfo type filters. I've tweaked it to make it a perfectly looping one shot hit at 112 bpm.

This is just a simple four to the floor kick drum pattern at 120 bpm. I created the kick itself by layering various synth timbres in rob papen's albino plugin. Processing was also applied such as compression, eq and using subtle distortion in specific frequency areas to get it sounding like this. Heavily pounding bassdrum originally made from 10 litre bottle punching sounds recorded with my fake shure c608 mic and heavily processed by adding some modulations, distortions, layering some attack and setting bass part (under 200 hz) to mono. Will be nice choice to produce hip-hop drums, or experimental techno also for making cinematic thunder-like booms.

Samples of the legendary boss dr-55. These are one-shot samples of the entire boss dr-55 drum machine. This is a vintage analog drum machine, and every recording of the circuit's output is unique. As such, i believe recordings of the machine to be freely distributable. No harm/ financial gain is intended by this upload, only love! enjoy!.

Sample of a metallic percussion hit. The sound is quite dark and muffled. I call it underwater drum, because it sounds to me like it's underwater. This sample is tuned to a1 but there is a very dominant overtone at b1, which is the musical interval of a minor second. The source of the sample was the platter of a dismantled hard disk drive, hit with a wooden mallet. It was then pitched down a lot. The sample is almost raw, i just added some slight eq. The sample was intended to be used with a sampler, you may want to add some reverb for this and filter the previously mentioned overtone, when you use it in combination with other tuned instruments. Also, the pitch is probably not perfectly tuned. Microphone: akq perception 120post-processing: pitch manipulation & eq.
